Short game lessons are available at Knutsford Golf Club and I give long game lessons at the tremendous Beeches driving range.

Lesson fees are £30 for 30 minutes and a course of 7 lessons for the price of 6 is recommended.

9 hole playing lessons are also available for £80

I really enjoy the coaching side of my profession and I am lucky enough to have worked alongside (and been coached by) some of the best golf coaches in the world.  In 2001 I was appointed golf coach for the Manchester United footballers by Sir Alex Ferguson and in 2006 I was awarded Advanced PGA Professional status by the professional golfers association. I regularly attend PGA coaching seminars for my continued professional development to keep abreast with the latest approaches and theories.

I place a strong emphasis on solid basics  and I also try and keep my methods simple as I want my pupils  to feel they are making enjoyable, steady progress. In my 20 years coaching experience I find the best results come from a relaxed natural approach rather than a technical approach to the game. I see many golfers trying to put the club in unnatural positions during their swing trying to improve yet getting frustrated as they are stifling any natural ability they may have. I see it as my job to guide every golfer to find a simple method by which they will play to their true potential.
