Tomorrows event at Caldy is on. I have just spoken with the Secretary and the course is wet in places but the greens are excellent.

I shall speak to the pro shop in the morning at 8 AM and will confirm on my website before 8.30 am that everything is good to go.

Final Day at Vilasol More superb weather greeted the 40 touring Maxitours players for the tense final round at Vilasol. The course was a great test throughout the week and enjoyed by everyone. Colin Roberts team was dead last heading into today but they won the final day with some epic golf and were popular winners! The Overall winning team was Joe Kirwans(5) low handicap team of Gareth Bradley(scr), Ian Gemmell(5) and Peter McCullogh(16) These four nice guys played solid golf throughout the week to win by six shots. Jim Clarke’s Knutsford team pushed them close with an excellent front nine on the final day but lost momentum on the last few holes. Richard Palmers team were second from bottom last year this year they were delighted to take 3rd spot- well played chaps a great improvement. Thanks to everyone for being a pleasure to deal with this week. Maxitours at red hot Vilasol Day 2 Results

Three teams shared first place at beautiful Vilasol. Players made the most of a beautiful afternoon and first place was shared by Allan Browns team, Jim Clarkes Team and the overnight leaders team of Joe Kirwan and his friends who all scored 80 points.

Things should be exciting tomorrow as three points is a narrow lead on this golf course!
