Many thanks to all who played in the Maxitours event today and especially to Karen Gallagher for running the day so well! Thanks also to Secretary/ Manager Geraldine and the Hopwood Golf Club for their terrific hospitality. Karen informed me how well looked after our guys were and she also said there were plenty of great comments about the golf course.

The report is slightly shorter than usual as ‘I am on my holidays’.
My wife Suzy and I have spent most of the day playing frisbee on the beach in the sunshine with the dog and children. Next year I have decided to buy a frisbee as the dog and kids are getting to heavy to throw.

In today’s event it was good to see a couple of dentists hunting for the prizes. There were no lions killed today but top dentist Anthony Grimley decimated a family of worms with a thinned four iron into the 10th hole.
