Maxitours at Wychwood
Wychwood Park is possibly the most underrated course in the North West. They have hosted both The European tour school and Europro tour events and this high quality championship course can now add another Maxitours event to its impressive list of events.

Paul Evans has blamed poor golf in the past on wind, rain, tough greens, tight fairways, poor partners and today he added ‘the sun’ to his list of excuses. His team were out in 40 points but came home in just 30.
‘The sun got to us.’ Reported the likeable Alsager man.
The highlight of Mike Hills round was when the sprinklers came on whilst he was playing the 8th hole. He had great fun timing his pre shot routine in order to dodge the water as the sprinklers shuffled around.
Paul Price is a Maxitours regular and in the top 5 nicest people I know.

Third place went to Dave Cooper, Roman Lecki, Dave Kelly and Terry Dunne with 85 points.
Alsagers Colin Roberts, Dave Mason, Nigel Armitage and Steve Jones took 2nd with 86 points
It was the home team of Wychwood Park members and Maxitours regulars Phil Robinson, Dave Goodwin, Dave Greenwood and Pete Brown who took the honours with 87 points. These guys haven’t won for years but Robinsons terrific birdie on the 13th and Greenwoods birdie on the last proved to be vital. Well played chaps.
